Kalakriti Art Gallery
October 2018
UI Design | UX Design | Visual Design
To design four hypothetical webpages for a website for a museum/art gallery of our choice. I chose to design one for Kalakriti Art Gallery (Hyderabad, India). Time frame given: 4 days
Objective
Skills & Tools Used
Information Architecture Mapping, Low & High Fidelity Wireframe Prototyping, UI/UX Design // Adobe Photoshop
Goals for Website
-
Strong visual focus on artists and their artwork.
-
Maintaining a traditional Indian, and "artsy" feel to the website.
-
Having a strong USP in terms of colour/typography. In this case, as you will see later, a deep shade of red was used, as it was present on the existing website of Kalakriti Art Gallery, and is something visitors will associate.
Webpages Chosen
-
Home Page
-
Artist's Page
-
Artist's Individual Profiles
-
Online Shop
Information
Architecture
Data was collected from the existing website to support the reorganisation of information.
Low Fidelity
Wireframes
Ideation for low fidelity wireframes (green dot marks the one that was chosen to be further prototyped).
High Fidelity
Wireframes
Wireframes were created using Photoshop.

Final Webpages
Final webpages were created on Photoshop. Images were taken from the original website.
